80" wingspan, 43" long, 881 sq. in. wing area, 8-1/4 pounds flying weight. Scale airplane that builds quickly and flies beautifully. By building the airplane as an electric conversion a lot of the problems of the glow plane are avoided. The airplane is lighter, easier to build, no throttle linkage problems or fuel tank location issues (the 4-cell flight pack sits on the fuselage floor and is easily moved for fine tuning the balance). The airplane is a joy to fly and performs much like its full-scale counterpart. Take-off's are quick and touch-and-go's are slow and easy. The airplane has a gleaming pre-finished fiberglass fuselage with strut mounts and landing gear hard points pre-installed. The wings and tail parts are all wood construction pre-covered with Oracover. Wings are 2-piece with steel wing rod, which are easy to disassemble and transport. Landing main gear is pre-formed aluminum with fiberglass wheel pants and lightweight foam wheels. Nose gear is chrome wire and steerable. The wing struts are pre-assembled, covered, and ready to install. For 4 channels: Ailerons (2 servos), Elevator, Rudder/Nose wheel steering, Throttle. A 5th servo for Throttle is required if built with glow engine.
