"Katana S50E" .50 Size ARF

57-3/4" wingspan, 57-3/4" long, 759-1/2 sq. in. wing area, 96 oz. flying weight. Design is based on the famous KatanaS "Tournament Of Champion’s" airplane. All balsa and plywood airframe covered in heat shrink film. Glossy epoxyglass cowl and wheelpants, pre-cut and ready to install. Large control surfaces gives immediate response to control inputs and an impressive thrust-to-weight ratio provides crisp control authority at any airspeed and flight condition. Wing joiner is 16mm hollow carbon fiber tube. Tinted canopy is completely finished and includes magnetic mounts. The rudder and elevator servos are located at the rear of the airframe, connection to the flying surface is short and stiff for precise quick response. The airplane is capable of all the basic 3D maneuvers with power to spare and will perform the advanced maneuvers if the pilot is up to the challenge. The 23-page manual has over 75 black and white photos showing each step in the build and includes suggested control throws and exponential rates. Builds in 7-10 hours. Recommended for intermediate to advanced pilots. For 4-channels: Ailerons (2 servos), Elevator, Rudder and Throttle.
